The horde was resurrected at the new millennium, set free by the Infernal Master himself. To spread terror and hate… Comatose was one of the new generations of death metal in Cebu City. The band extremely plays pure death metal, in veins of 80’s thrash-death to 90’s brutal-death. Comatose have toured Dumaguete twice, together with Dumaguete’s black-death metal Cookie Monster, Mortar after Math, Tremors, and etc. The pure evil & blasphemy album was released on July 2004;the self-released album was recorded at Backyard jamming studio (Lahug C.C.)
COMATOSE toured w/ OROM last december 2004, entitled “pure live blasphemies” in dumaguete.
The band played @ “HELLFEST” last march 19, 2005 along w/ cebu’s underground deathmetal bands: T-1POSA, PURGATORYO, ZANTILMO, OROM, RELIGIOUS DEMONS, PREMATURE BURIAL and etc… the gig was the major come back of the underground zine since the “NECROFEST II” in 2000…
